Ansel Adams ... "You don't take a photograph, you make it."
I was given his first camera in the early 80's by my father, a fully manual film camera. My early experience was taking photos of exotic racing cars at Brands Hatch and Silverstone, although I found the 'hit and miss' nature of analogue and film very frustrating, this made the creation of a good image all the more elusive and special. With the advent of digital I found it a much more rewarding experience and invested time into Landscape photography techniques. With a great love of the outdoors, I found time behind the camera was a great way to relax. Most of My photography time is either spent in the local area in Hertfordshire or on a family holiday, always making a detour to find a photo opportunity.
